Contract Bus Drivers
Experienced bus drivers with a proven background are invited to apply.
The Kings Ferry requires contract drivers working to a shift of 4 days on 2 days off. Shifts start from 08.00 until 00.30. These are done on a Rota and working rest days can be possible. Note this involves weekend shifts and bank holiday working.
Earnings between £16,900-£19.000 pa

PCV Training
NEW CAREER! Our drivers come from all walks of life but share an ambition to drive some of the best coaches in the UK for a company respected for its high standards. Experience is definitely not a requirement and our training programme is fully funded by The Kings Ferry, including training allowance, medical, all test fees and PCV instruction. After successful completion a full time driving position is guaranteed. Following PCV licence training (approx 2-3 weeks) ongoing training is given and by spring you could be driving passengers on UK & Continental day trips/tours, local contract services or London commuter services. For our busy traffic office in Gillingham. You will be part of a group of professionals managing a fleet of 80 modern vehicles and a wide variety of business in a friendly, supportive environment. Along with a fast mind and ability to get things done you will need good IT skills, a readiness to learn and willingness to work within a shift pattern. A PCV licence would be an advantage, as would experience of the transport industry.
