You will have heard that The Kings Ferry Travel Group was purchased by the National Express Group in November. We confirm that National Express have no intentions of changing anything about our commuter services, whether it be brand or routes. For your reassurance, we are willing to issue a money-back guarantee along with your season ticket renewal.
When your season ticket is renewed we will guarantee no changes to your home pick-up routes or times for the duration of the season ticket. If – for any reason – we make any changes that do not suit your circumstances, we will give you a full pro rata refund on your request. We hope that this reassures you during these initial few months of our new ownership.
This offer is available to any customer purchasing an Annual Season ticket before 31st April 2007, hopefully this shows all our customers that we have only good intentions for the future of the commuter operation and helps everyone get over the initial times of concern.
The National Express Group are one of the largest Travel Companies in the world operating a range of services from buses and trains to school buses in America and the largest coach operator in Spain. Their acquisition of The Kings Ferry was a very strategic purchase recognising the brand strength of Kings Ferry and our unique way of operating commuter services.
Christmas is Coming…
Our commuter shopping trip to Calais was a great success with more than 80 commuters and members of their families joining our team for a day’s Christmas shopping at Cité Europe. Feedback was good from all involved who will now be putting their feet up while the rest of us battle with the Christmas rush round the shops!

Bart Raczak Bart joined us as a driver when he and his wife Sylwia moved to England from Poland. To celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary we treated the couple and their friends to a night out in London on one of our VIP Land Yachts – a luxury vehicle that’s the ultimate in comfortable transportation! Bart was able to relax and enjoy himself as we even provided them with the driver of Bart’s choice. Sylwia said: “It was fantastic, I’d never been to London before and The Kings Ferry made it the perfect way to see this amazing city for the first time!”
Sophie London Sophie has recently joined the Commuter Team as an Administrator – she will be your first point of contact whenever you phone. Sarah Hackett, who started with the company five years ago as Commuter Administrator and is now our Management Assistant, will be on hand to guide Sophie while she learns the ropes.
Greg Hounsell Driver Greg and his wife Debbie are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter Reece who arrived on 9 November weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces. We send our best wishes to Greg and his family.
