More rail disruption in East Anglia
Rail passengers in East Anglia faced disruption earlier this week, as a result of issues like signalling problems.
Minor delays were reported on routes between London and Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich after a signalling problem occurred at Liverpool Street. The Southend and Southminster route and West Anglia services to Cambridge, Stansted, Hertford East, Chingford, Cheshunt and Enfield were also affected.
Train company Abellio has issued an apology to rail travellers, saying: "We would like to apologise to all customers affected by disruption to our services today. We are working to ensure all trains and drivers are in place for this evening's rush hour when we intend to run a normal service."
Several trains were cancelled or delayed on Monday after the Abellio company took over the Greater Anglia franchise.
