More morning misery for Tube users
London's Tube travellers had their rush-hour journeys badly disrupted again today after engineering work finished late.
And commuters on main line services operated by the Southern train company also suffered hold-ups on their journeys into the capital this morning. The main line delays were caused by a broken-down train on the line between Horsham and Warnham in West Sussex.
Today's Tube disruption caused delays during the early part of the morning rush hour for travellers using the Circle and District lines.
This morning's misery for train travellers followed yesterday's fire alert at Charing Cross Underground Station which led to some services on the Bakerloo line being suspended with the severe delays continuing for several hours.
