The Kings Ferry provides new bespoke coaches for commuting and private hire
As part of their ongoing fleet replacement program, leading coach operator, The Kings Ferry, has just taken delivery of nine new Mercedes OC500RF chassis Caetano CT650 53-seat coaches. The new coaches have been created to The Kings Ferry's bespoke requirements, have full executive specification and wheelchair access via an innovative front passenger door lift.
"When confirming the new specifications for the coaches we sought to create the best combination of both comfort and style for our customers," said Ian Fraser, operations director for The Kings Ferry. "We visited the manufacturer and after trying out a number of seating options, chose elements from three different seating configurations to help create what we believe is an exceptionally comfortable ride."
The Kings Ferry has invested £2million into this latest fleet replacement to ensure it continues to offer commuters and private hire groups the best coach ride on the road. The new coaches will be used for its London to Medway commuter service and also for private hire work.
The finishing touches are currently being put to the vehicle livery before they join the rest of The Kings Ferry's industry-leading fleet.
