Help for Heroes and ghosts – all in a night's work for The Kings Ferry
The Kings Ferry is transporting VIP guests to a spooky ghost hunt held at Fort Amherst in Chatham, Kent, on Saturday 13th February.
The event has been organised by ghost hunting group, Compass Paranormal, and is in aid of war hero charity, Help for Heroes.
The Kings Ferry has provided transport for Help for Heroes in the past, so when Steve Craddick, at Help for Heroes needed coach transport for this project, his first thought was The Kings Ferry.
"We're delighted and proud to provide vehicles for such a great and worthwhile cause," said Ian Fraser, operations director at The Kings Ferry. "It's great to know our services were requested again and an honour to be able help such a worthy cause. I hope everyone enjoys their experience.'
The Kings Ferry is supplying a 53 seat coach for VIP ticket holders attending the event where there'll be an evening of spooks and surprises in store. The coach will take the guests from Fort Amherst to The Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham, at 6.30pm where they will get to meet fellow ghost hunter for the evening, Frank Bruno MBE. Then the group will head back to Fort Amherst to kick off the night's festivities at 9pm.
