Branded coach promotes Skiweekends to mass audience
Skiweekends makes short skiing holidays to Europe accessible to a wide UK market and its vehicle advertising campaign with The Kings Ferry is helping to get the message out there.
One of The Kings Ferry's commuter coaches is wrapped top-to-toe in Skiweekends branding, transforming the coach into a powerful, cost-effective marketing tool.

Each week throughout the ski season, Skiweekends departs from the UK for some of the best ski areas in the Alps. The majority of passengers travel by coach, with the remaining opting for aeroplane or fly-drive. And with more than 3,000 people travelling by coach each season, the word is definitely spreading.
The branded coach adds real value to the company's marketing strategy as it travels return to central London from Medway during peak commuter times, giving them high brand visibility among a core target market, but without the hefty price tag of traditional outdoor advertising.
"The coach is a great mobile advertisement and it has a synergy with one of the key services we offer customers - skiing holidays by luxury coach. It has real impact as the Skiweekends.com brand is seen by tens of thousands of people every day, and it always stands out on the road," said Dan Fox of Skiweekends.
In addition to providing the commuter coach wrapping service, The Kings Ferry has been supplying 56 seat luxury coaches that carry the Skiweekends logo for the tour operator since 2006, enabling the company to offer passengers a high quality travel experience, even during the overnight leg of the journey.
"These coaches are not what you'd expect; they are closer to an aeroplane than a traditional coach with sumptuous leather reclining seats, ample leg room and adjustable backrests, headrests and footrests, WiFi access, movies, an onboard bar, and individual reading lights and air conditioning," said Ian Fraser, operations director for The Kings Ferry.
"Travelling by coach is a more affordable and greener option than air travel, and can provide a rival travelling experience. The Kings Ferry coaches are exceptionally comfortable and the flexibility means skiers can board a coach at London Victoria on Thursday after work, enjoy a good night's sleep on the coach and hit the slopes on Friday morning. Skiers can enjoy three full days on the snow, take one day off work and return ready for work on Monday," said Dan Fox.
The Kings Ferry can wrap a number of vehicles in its fleet and will tailor a vehicle advertising campaign to suit a company's marketing requirements.
