The Kings Ferry foxtrots to Blackpool with the cast and crew of Strictly Come Dancing

The Kings Ferry transported the celebrities, professional dancers and production team of BBC One's hit primetime show, Strictly Come Dancing, to Blackpool for the show's live broadcast at the weekend.
A 35 seat VIP coach was supplied and driver, Frank Wood, collected the passengers from Television Centre, Wood Lane, London, and took them to Blackpool Tower on Friday 6th November ahead of Saturday's live show.
The exclusive coach's windows were wrapped with Strictly Come Dancing's logo and when the coach stopped off at a service station on the way to Blackpool, fans soon realised who was on board!
"Everyone was in high spirits," said driver Frank Wood. "The guys were playing cards and quiz games in the lounge at the back of the coach. Ricky Groves even got on the mike and was entertaining the passengers on the way to Blackpool!"
The celebrities, dancers and production team were all transported to Blackpool where they began preparations for Saturday's live show.
"Going to Blackpool Ballroom was a real eye-opener and seeing all the dancers get ready was amazing," said Frank. "I certainly had a ball!"
The coach doubled up as a dressing room on Saturday when it was parked up at Blackpool as the celebrities and dancers got ready for the show on the coach. The show's four judges also came on board and watched the dancers rehearse in the Ballroom on television screens on the coach.
"We were thrilled to transport the Strictly Come Dancing cast and crew," said Danny Elford, commercial director at The Kings Ferry. "Frank had a great time driving up to Blackpool for the weekend. I hope the celebrities, dancers and crew enjoyed the experience they had with The Kings Ferry."
The VIP coach returned to London on Sunday 8th November after Saturday's live show.
