Wembley Success
The Kings Ferry was delighted to be involved in Millwall's play-off success on Saturday 29th May that saw them gain promotion from Coca-Cola league one to the Coca-cola Championship.
Luxury coach hire specialists, The Kings Ferry, transported all the players, directors, staff and 15 coaches of excited supporters to and from the match. The Kings Ferry has been transporting Millwall since 1997 and has experienced all the highs and lows the club has seen over the 13 seasons.
Millwall saw Captain Paul Robinson score the only goal of the game, beating Swindon 1-0, all that was needed to ensure their promotion into the Championship League. Millwall's play-off record has seen them miss out on promotion in the end of season tournament on five occasions, including defeat by Scunthorpe at Wembley last year.
"After last year's disappointment of losing out to Scunthorpe, the extra year has bought Millwall the recognition they deserved,” commented Ian Fraser, operations director at The Kings Ferry. “We were thrilled to be a part of it and wish them every future success."
