Throughout the year, you'll be able to find plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in which to enjoy a fun night out.
But the month of October marks a particularly big window of opportunity for foodies. That's because the capital is set to stage London Cocktail Week and The London Restaurant Festival, both of which are well worth sampling.

The London Restaurant Festival
Are you a big fan of top grub? Well, this annual festival, which starts today (October 3rd) and will run until the 21st, is perfect you.
As part of the celebrations, an impressive number of eateries will offer an exclusive London Restaurant Festival menu, which is likely to feature all sorts of special dishes to mark the occasion.
"The festival will comprise of two main elements: Events and Festival Menus. There will also be a section of Side Orders - where individual restaurants will be encouraged and supported in devising activities with direct appeal to their own market," event organisers explained.
London Cocktail Week
The great annual event takes placed between October 7th and 13th – and is certainly one that you don't want to miss.
To mark the occasion, the city will be hosting a range of cocktail-themed seminars, in addition to some great parties and master classes.
What's more, the drinks will all be available at a reduced price. Bars will, in fact, serve £4 cocktails to anyone wearing a London Cocktail Week wristband.
