LEGOLAND Windsor is the perfect Easter day out

LEGOLAND Windsor is the perfect Easter day out

Christmas may not seem long ago, but the next half term will come around sooner than you think.

Around Easter, schools in the UK will break up for two weeks and parents will want to find fun activities to keep their young ones entertained. This period can be a tiring and expensive one, though there are ways to keep everyone happy.

Rather than sitting inside watching films and TV shows, a day out for the whole family can be a lot of fun, but you will need to choose wisely. LEGOLAND Windsor is sure to please, with attractions to suit all ages. After all, everyone loves LEGO!

Not only is the park fun, it is also educational, with plenty of fantastic workshops and lessons to keep the kids’ engaged during their break from term-time. Pirates Landing is a fantastic option, with fun group activities that will help with teamwork and collaboration.

The Model Making Zone is perfect for understanding how LEGO is built and the amount of effort that goes into becoming a model maker, while the 4D cinema is state-of-the-art entertainment for all the family with characters coming to life on the big screen.

Star Wars fans will be sure to enjoy the Miniland Model Display and Gallery, where seven scenes from the franchise are recreated through 1.5 million bricks. Expect authentic sounds, models and lighting in a wonderful tribute to the film series.

Elsewhere in the park, the Miniland exhibition is sure to capture the imagination of young ones, featuring stunning model scenes from Europe and the USA made out of almost 40 million bricks.

Be sure to check the website for the latest prices. There are separate fees for adults and childrens, though you may be able to secure a family ticket for a discounted amount.

The park is currently closed and will reopen on March 10th for the spring season, though it is advisable to plan ahead in order to secure the cheapest prices.

When it come to travel, driving to the theme park could be a good idea simply due to convenience, but you could save a significant amount of money by using other modes of transport.

Trains may be one consideration, but the potential for delays or cancellations is considerable. Fortunately, coaches can provide a more efficient service and allow travellers to benefit from more comfortable journeys, increased legroom and substantial luggage space.
