London is full of outstanding attractions during the autumn, ranging from music concerts to sports events and theatre.
With such a wide variety of amazing things to do, it can be challenging for visitors to narrow down their options in the capital. If you do not plan ahead properly, you could find yourself struggling to fit in everything you want to do.
One event that is sure to be a big hit is the MCM London Comic Con at ExCeL, where an assortment of amazing guests and activities will be available between October 28th and 30th. These events have become increasingly popular in recent years, attracting some of the biggest names in modern popular culture.
This autumn’s edition is no different, with stars including Enver Gjokaj from Agent Carter and anime stars Arryn Zech and Kara Eberle. YouTube stars Jamie Jo, Luke Cutforth and Emma Blackery will also appear.
There is also a lot of memorabilia to choose from, featuring actors and actresses from both TV and film over the years. You can even have professional photos taken at the venue’s own studio, which are printed and returned to you on the same day.
Expect several stores from a range of stockists, too. Collectibles, anime, trading cards, manga, DVDs, games, comics, toys and much more will all be available. It’s a fantastic place to mingle with other like-minded individuals, meet new people and discuss your interests.
Popasia will be another interesting attraction for customers, offering a collection of Japanese and Asian collectibles as well as music, food, fashion and manga.
The cosplay and masquerade area is another fascinating attraction, providing plenty of guidance and support for cosplayers, along with masquerade performances on stage.
The Eurocosplay championships will be held as part of the event, with some of the best cosplayers from across Europe battling to become the overall champion of the continent.
What’s more, the MCM Theatre is another fantastic attraction, where some of the event’s guests will take part in Q&A sessions, giving visitors a chance to ask any questions they wish.
What is the best way to get there?
ExCeL London is tough to reach by car due to the heavy volumes of traffic surrounding the city centre area. Similarly, parking is sure to fill up fast, leaving ticket holders with little choice over where to put their vehicle.
While trains are often viewed as the top option for long-distance journeys, they can be extraordinarily expensive if they are not booked far enough in advance. To make your trip as cheap and efficient as possible, a coach could be a better alternative.
With a guaranteed seat, Wi-Fi and charging ports, these services allow you to sit back, relax and plan your trip in the capital.
