Start planning now for a spooky Halloween in London

Halloween is creeping up on us and travellers will need to make sure they have plans in place to make the most of the scariest holiday of the year.

The capital is one of the best places in the world to visit on the Halloween weekend. This year’s falls on a Monday, but many of the festivities will take place on Saturday 29th October.

Whether you want to sample London’s famous nightlife or explore some of the city’s creepiest attractions, there is plenty to choose from across the capital.

By travelling via coach, visitors can save themselves a significant amount of money and look forward to a comfortable and efficient journey, rather than having to deal with congested platforms and traffic.

Perhaps book an overnight stay and return the day after Halloween, or opt for a late service home. Whatever you decide, there are plenty of options to suit your needs.

Here are just some of the top options:

1. The London Dungeon

One of the top Halloween destinations for travellers is the London Dungeon, which celebrates all things spooky this October. You can look forward to an amazing mix of special effects, scary scenes and thrilling rides in one of the most unique experiences available in the country.

There is a total of 19 interactive shows celebrating 1,000 years of history, alongside two underground rides and unforgettable storytelling. You can get a great insight into historic characters such as Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd.

2.  Try a ghost bus tour

While the London Dungeon brilliantly recreates the past, the Ghost Bus Tour shows some of the spookiest sights of the capital in their modern form. Decked in all-black paint, a traditional bus is given a spooky makeover for this magnificent journey.

Facts are mixed with fiction on this fascinating trip around London, which takes in some of the scariest places of the capital including the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.

Overall, it’s nothing like your usual tour bus and sure to be a hit this Halloween.

3. Monster Mash Up

On October 28th, visitors can look forward to the Monster Mash Up, a huge music extravaganza featuring a host of big-name music performances, including Tinie Tempah, Zigala and Clean Bandit.

This isn’t like any normal gig, either. Look forward to an unbelievable atmosphere at The Hammersmith Apollo, including incredible costumes, fake blood and a huge party.
