Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and more will appear at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at the 02 Arena from November 13th-20th.
The Scot qualified for the ninth straight season and will attempt to be the first Brit to win the prestigious finale. He has an 11-11 tournament match record following semi-final appearances in 2008, 2010 and 2012.
Over 1.8 million fans have been welcomed to the 02 Arena over the last seven years, making it the largest indoor tennis tournament in the world since 2009.
On top of this, 102 million viewers watched the contest over eight days in 2015 and the event will remain at the venue until 2018.
Speaking about his involvement in the tournament, Murray said: “I love playing at The O2 in front of a home crowd. The support is always amazing and it's a great tournament.
“I have had a good first half of the season and hope to continue that right the way through to London at the end of the year.”
How can I pick up tickets?
Tickets for all days of the event are available at ATPWorldTour.com at affordable prices. Since Wimbledon is so difficult to attend, the tournament is one of the best ways to see the sport’s leading athletes without leaving the country.
In 2015, the finals attracted 262,894 fans to the 02 Arena to finish off the year, with Novak Djokovic beating Roger Federer in the final to collect his fourth title in a row.
Highlighting the impressive growth of the tournaments, ATP has launched its 2017 and 2018 calendars after a record-breaking season in 2015 that brought in a global broadcast audience of 973 million viewers, marking growth of ten per cent from 2014.
Combined with the ATP World Tour Uncovered magazine show, viewership reached 60 million. The events also saw an all-time attendance record, with 4.5 million people showing up throughout 2015.
What transport should I book?
Even though the matches are a few months away, there is no harm in booking transport well in advance. Not only can this save a significant amount of money, it can give you time to plan any other activities you want to do while in the capital.
One of the best travel options is the coach, for several reasons. Firstly, you will not have to worry about missing out on a seat, as yours will be guaranteed once you buy your ticket. With Wi-Fi and plug sockets on-board, you can even plan the finer details of your visit to London while travelling.
Plus, by not driving, there is no need to concern yourself with parking costs or traffic congestion. Simply relax and look forward to a day (or a few) in the capital watching the best tennis players in the world.
