Every winter, a number of ice rinks pop up around Kent, offering a wonderful opportunity to introduce the kids to a new type of exercise that they’ll find fun and exciting. If there isn’t one quite on your doorstep, you can hire a coach to take you and family friends to the closest rink for a great day out with the kids.

Eastwell Manor, Ashford - until January 2nd
Skating at Eastwell Manor begins today (November 23rd) and continues a long tradition of taking to the ice at the house. The refreshments follow a traditional theme too, with roasted chestnuts, mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate all available.
Entry costs £14.50 for adults and £9.50 for under-12s.
