Travel West Awards 2014 - For the West of England

With over 120 attendees from 54 businesses present, the Travel Awards 2014 was a fantastic showcase of the energy, enthusiasm and commitment shown by businesses across the region over the past year. Businesses gathered at the Hewlett Packard Labs, Bristol, where they were treated to a fascinating presentation by Ben Hamilton-Baille, street designer and shared space advocate, demonstrating his unique expertise in the development of shared space principles for street design to improve safety, congestion and access.

There were also presentations about this years’ successful Big Commuting Challenge and an opportunity to learn more about the new Kings Ferry, Commuter Coach Service, who picked up the award for Most Innovative Sustainable Travel Service.
