International Sport and The Kings Ferry

Every sports team needs to travel, even international football teams. When they travel to the UK, there is only one coach operator that has the experience, the expertise and the pedigree to provide such a service to those that are used to the high life.

This week The Kings Ferry is proving why so many top sports teams call on their services when visiting these shores by providing for the Nigerian, Scottish and Italian Football 1st teams. The Barbarian Rugby team are also getting in on the action for their Rugby match at Twickenham on Sunday 1st June.

Nigeria and Scotland take part in an International Friendly at Craven Cottage today (Wednesday 28th May) Kick-off at 8pm. We are providing coach travel for both first teams for the duration of their visit to London. Italy take on Republic of Ireland (also at Craven Cottage) as they prepare for their World Cup adventure, Saturday 31st May, Kick-off 7.45pm. We are providing transport for both players and officials for a number of days before and after the match also.

Nigeria V Scotland – Craven Cottage 28th May 2014

The Kings Ferry are proud to announce that we are providing team travel coaches for both Scotland and Nigeria for their international friendly hosted by Fulham’s Craven Cottage.

The Kings Ferry have a long history in providing for top sports teams to all manner of sporting events including top European and International football matches.

Both teams were picked up from Heathrow Airport in their team coaches on Sunday 25th May and taken to their respective hotels. We are also providing transport for various requirements including training in the run up to Wednesdays kick-off at 8pm.

Naturally (in keeping with our professionalism) we are not taking sides, but expect it to be an intriguing match as there are a number of new call-ups in Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad and Nigeria coach Keshi will use his provisional 30-man World Cup squad, packed with Premier League stars including John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Shola Ameobi. Keshi's team face World Cup group stage fixtures against Argentina, Bosnia and Iran.
